Terms of Service

Effective date: August 10, 2026  ·  Published by Adeptus Camini  ·  adeptuscamini.com

By downloading, installing, or using Vibe Engine (Vibra-Ingenn) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.

1. What This Software Does

Vibe Engine is a local AI execution engine for Windows 10 and 11. It runs AI-generated workflow recipes entirely on your own machine. The software:

The software does not collect, transmit, or share your data, files, prompts, or outputs. All execution is local. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

2. License Grant

Adeptus Camini grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user license to install and use Vibe Engine on Windows devices you own or control, for the duration of an active paid subscription or the free trial period.

3. Subscription & Payment

Price: $8.99 USD per month (Early Adopter Rate Lock — your price never increases as long as your subscription is active).

Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial before any charge. You may cancel during the trial period with no charge.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Payment is charged on the same day each month.

What happens if payment fails: If a payment fails, your account is downgraded to Free Tier (data preserved, execution locked) until payment is resolved.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Stripe customer portal or by emailing support@adeptuscamini.com.

5. Free Tier

Users who cancel a subscription retain access to the Free Tier. Free Tier preserves all your local recipe files and stored data but disables new recipe execution and cloud AI connectivity until a subscription is reactivated.

6. Installation & Uninstallation

Installation: The Vibe Engine installer (Setup_Vibe_Engine_PRO.exe) is a standard Windows Inno Setup installer. It places files in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Vibra-Ingenn\ and creates optional Start Menu shortcuts. It does not bundle any third-party software.

Uninstallation: Vibe Engine can be removed at any time via Windows Settings → Apps, or by running the uninstaller in the installation directory. Uninstalling removes all application files. Your recipe files and encrypted secrets vault (stored in %APPDATA%\Vibra-Ingenn\) are retained unless you manually delete them.

MCP Integration (optional): If you run vibra setup-mcp, the software modifies JSON configuration files for Claude Desktop, Cursor, and other compatible AI IDEs to register Vibe Engine as an MCP server. This is reversible via vibra uninstall-mcp or by manually editing those config files.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Vibe Engine to:

Vibe Engine executes actions you configure. You are responsible for the recipes you run and the outputs they produce.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Vibe Engine is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Adeptus Camini does not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adeptus Camini shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vibe Engine, including but not limited to data loss, system damage, or loss of business — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
